Kate's blessing dress (photos do not even do the dress justice!)
This first post on Evi and Gary's blog is written by Shannon. I was also the one who set up this blog so hopefully you two will keep it going! This past week mom came to Utah to help me with our new baby, Kate Marika Esplin. The middle name Marika is now in 3 generations and hopefully Kate will pass on the tradition to her daughter someday. This photo is of mom holding Kate. She is wearing her new blessing dress, which I begged mom to make out of my wedding dress. It turned out more beautiful than I even imagined! It was quite big at first, but mom is incredibly talented and altered it to fit Kate. Thank you so much mom, you are amazing and I love and appreciate everything you did this past week so much!
